LOL.... welcome to MY world, Senator!! That's been the story of my whole season so far. I hope you won't mind if I don't feel too badly for ya.

So I did win...I didn't get to check this morning and I can't access from work. NO is pretty much against giving Lance Moore the ball at all, eh?

I think it was Matt Forte who went -.40 for me one week. At least you weren't in negative territory.

My team is on a crash and burn mission. I am 1-3 the last four weeks. I want to fire the coach and I guarantee that someone gets cut this week.

That was too close for comfort. I'm growing weary of my team pissing away 30+ point leads on Monday night. Squeaked by tonight, but..... :o

This league is still completely up for grabs. Well, Steve is probably hosed, but even Lou probably still has a chance.

Word. There are 5 regular season games left, and with the current bunching, and matchups remaining, ANYONE in the league could make the playoffs.

Except Steve. ;) Actually, Steve is still in it too. The difference between 12th place and that 4th playoff spot is thin thin thin thin.

oh, and BTW, I wish to thank Hines Ward - who had like one catch for 3 yards at halftime - for coming up BIG in the second half. And, seeing as how CatWoman has invited him to bite her, I'd like to claim first dibs on watching that. :o

Ech. What a nightmare. I'll be losing in both my leagues this week, and in the other one, I was playing my brother, who with his lousy 1-8 record kicked me and my 8-1 record's arses.

I can't believe this: not a single solitary trade in this league all year long! 12 teams, and NO ONE could work a trade? Where's the fun in that?? :(

It's pretty sad, now I'm even suggesting trades to others that DON'T even include me or my team..... LOL, I hope that doesn't come back around to bite me in the ass down the road.

BTW, everyone is paid up now, right? (It seems a lot more important to me now than it did 3-4 weeks ago when I was 11th place.) Man, this league is so TIGHT, things can still change a lot in the next 4 weeks. Gotta love the excitement, the drama, the tension, the uncertainty! Edge of the seat stuff here. I think almost anyone is still mathematically in contention for a playoff spot. I know in my matchup this week, a lot is on the line: winner will finish the week either 2nd or 3rd, while the loser will probably drop somewhere 6th-8th, possibly even 9th. TIGHT, I tellsya, TIGHT. I need a nailbiting (biting fingernails) smiley.

ETA: btw, tonight I am enjoying a $5 Berco do Infante from Portugal (Estremedura), which I had given a 'decent' mark to in a previous vintage (05 or 06?) - though not as high a QPR as GaryV gave it, since I've had many other cheapo Douro's and Dao's that were even better bargains - but the newer vintage (2007) is every bit as ravable a WPR as Gary gave the former year. Ah LOVES me them Portugese bargain reds!!

I've always thought the Berco was a great QPR, an outstanding party wine..

The two who had not paid as of the last notice remain in the same status. SmokeyUST made some noise about intent to pay a week or so back, but I have not yet seen anything from him. In.Vino.Veritas last posted in forums on 10/26. No response by him to my PMs.

With the parity in this league, neither one is out of it right now. Not really sure what to do. I will confer with Lou.

I'll trade my QB for 6 more guaranteed wins. I just want to be 8-8 or 8-9 or 9-8 or whatever. I hate my autopicked team and it's too hard to frack with after the fact, so I don't care.

You and girliball care because your teams aren't going south like my team is. Long live the deadbeats! Sticking it to the man once again.

P.S. Calvin Johnson is so freaking overrated it hurts. The guy plays in garbage time every week would it kill him to give me a nice GT touchdown once in a freaking while.
