Adding a 13th at one of those tables with all the beefy Vayniacs? Sounds decidedly unpleasant.

After we didn't squeeze her and her sister in at a previous, already fully booked, Tribeca offline, she was outta here.... she posted 12 times total.

Yeah...especially when the preference of most local Beefiacs is to have an empty chair next to them....so that they have a place for Hot Dogs and fries and other assorted odds and ends.

Anybody else? There are always cancellations, so get on that wait-list.

If anybody wants a theme... go for it. Take charge. I personally don't care, so I won't be organizing it. But, I'll certainly join in if that's what others want.

We are currently at 12. The Waitlist has been started.....

As of 11/7/09:

In:
Brooklyn Paul
David
metsfan
Paul
Kahuna
Amgryger
JeremyQuek
SS Chris
RieZin
Chef June
grape ape
late-start

Waitlist:
Julius (but he is probably IN. At least 99% IN. I mean, if he brings the rolling-cart, how can he be denied. Yeah, Julius doesn't miss an offline. He's IN. At least CaliCab isn't coming. Wait, did I say that out loud?)

Maybe:
Barbotus
NY Pete

I thought they made tables bigger in the NY/NJ areas because of this issue.

FYI - Kahuna only puts out on the first date when there are mass quantities of wine and a stop at the Carnegie Deli for a triple decker pastrami/corned beef combo involved.................. :tmi:

Oh wait. You might just get lucky after all. :D

Good reminder, I should check their list. Looking forward to it gents :) ... as I recall, same producer / vineyard is ok as long as its a different vintage ?

Is anyone interested in trying an "aged" red wine from Long Island? I have a '98 Pellegrini Vineyards "Encore". Its a Bordeaux Blend. Its supposed to be quite good, and according to the winemaker, right at its peak. If I get enough "yes" I will bring it. Otherwise I'll bring something else.
