Guys we have sold close to 600 cases for those asking, also the wine is REALLLLLLLLY good and I know some disapointed but really this is an epic wine sold for $65-$70 everywhere and it sells since it was a 95WS and at under $35 bones it is a big time deal, we will always try to do good and dont forget we had to go an extra week cause it wasnt here in full so that added to the length of the promo...

No apologies are necessary Gary. It is a great deal. Besides, nobody has a gun to their heads. If you like it, you buy. If not, you don't. I'm happy I got four however I didn't buy anything this week in anticipation of the deal today. I should have picked up some yesterday for instance. Still, not complaining. Great deal.

Anyone try this? I'm going to open one a few weeks after I receive these and I would love a ballpark decant time.

My TN is on the Cinderella site (just below Gary's Yankees-Royals comment)
BTW, the wine was decanted at the table and we started drinking it immediately. I would say because of the greater fruit extraction it was actually more approachable than its younger sibling, the Crianza.

Noticed the pumpkin this morning, and glad I ordered 3 at 9.
I'm really uncertain what all the disappointed were expecting?
Even they admit this is a great wine at a great price.

In this context, the hype makes sense. If they bought 600 cases, they are really putting themselves out there and without some degree of hype could be stuck with a lot of wine! Hard to say what the proper amount of hype is, but I completely understand from a business perspective. Personally I think it is a great deal and am looking forward to my 3 bottles. By the way, it said in the review 830 cases were made, and WL bought 600- if correct, that would be almost a CW exclusive...

Also, to those who were looking for a Bordeaux or cultish napa cab, why would a producer of such a wine discount? There is no need, demand generally exceeds supply. It could happen, but I doubt we would see an unbelievable deal, people buy these wines at auctions for more than retail, not less. In the next few weeks, I'd love to see bubbles, german riesling, northern rhone, loire (red or white), brunello. Thanks for all the great deals GV!

Gary didn't say they bought 600 cases, he says they've sold 600 cases.
I asked how many they started with but got no answer.
Unless I'm reading this wrong, but it's worded that way.

They couldn't have bought too much more than 600 cases, considering that, according to the Spectator review they posted, there were only 830 cases produced.
