Did not make me raise my holiday freak flag. Was not very Christmas-y, and does not hold a candle to the all-time best Scrooge* movie ever, the 1951 version (black and white only, never colorized) with Alistair Sim.

*(Scrooged, however, is in a class of its own and can't really be compared. "Round these parts they call me Mr. Cross.")

See it as a matinee, but I don't recommend for young kids. It's pretty dark. You're not really missing anything if you wait for DVD.

Yea, 'cause your avatar screams "please Auntie J., take me to a bright-eyed & bushy-tailed Disney Christmas film...oh please , oh please, oh please".

Didn't know about this one Jaim. My wife usually taskes me to Disney films (for some strange reason). I'll look out for it.

Please do not mention the Scrooge idea to your associates as it might give them ideas....they are mean enough ;)

Since I'm not an aunt, there are no worries here.
