Bruce, you spent some money, but you're going to have a very nice Thursday evening. I tend to drink more Pinot Gris from this vineyard (which is one of my favorite wines) than Riesling, but both are excellent. This is one of Olivier Humbrecht's tiny, hand-maintained vineyards.

Open it for a while before drinking, because this is a late bloomer, and you can expect a bit of backbone. I'm still drinking Clos Windsbuhls from the mid '90s, and I haven't touched any '05 yet. I'll be fascinated to hear how it is doing.

I'm bummed I wanted to taste the 2006 Termes but I can only find the 2005!!! Ugg I went to 7 different stores looking for this vintage

get it anyway... this is a very consistent wine year in year out... it is a good education on the region if nothing else

I already have 3 bottles in the cellar I was just wanting to try the 2006.... But I guess I can drink the 2005 with you and decide if I need to go buy some of the 2006 when it comes out here in Dallas after yours and Gene's review

the 2007 is already out here... they changed the label, and it now finally shows the vintage on the front. I guess this is the first vintage after the sale of the brand.

They were pouring the 2007 at the WL supertasting. I had this late in the night so my palate was clearly fatigued, but I my handicapped impression was that the 07 was not as good as my recollection of past vintages.

Picked up the 2006 today! Booyah!

Couldn't find the 2006 locally, but in my cellar I have 2 bottles of the 1999!, May have to pop one of those to compare!

i encourage anyone to grab a bottle, even if it isnt the exact one we are tasting, and join in... it would be nice to have some mini verticals being tasted amongst us so we can compare them thru the vintages...

also everyone, including myself, is sure to learn new things with someone of genes' knowledge on board for this.. he has picked some great wines to taste and talk about
